At Mid Island Rotary, we believe that the strength of our community lies in the incredible work being done every day by local nonprofit organizations. From supporting families facing food insecurity to providing critical services for seniors, youth, and those in need, Staten Island’s nonprofit community is the heartbeat of real, lasting impact and we are proud to stand alongside you.

Through the Mid Island Rotary Foundation Grants Program, we provide funding to help local organizations continue and expand their meaningful work. Each year, we award grants (typically ranging from $500 to $1,000) to support projects that directly benefit Staten Islanders and their families. While modest in size, these grants are designed to spark impact, often helping organizations launch initiatives, strengthen existing programs, or reach more people in need.

Eligible applicants must be registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations with a local Staten Island presence and a clear commitment to improving quality of life across the borough. Projects that demonstrate collaboration, matching funds, or in-kind support are especially encouraged, as they help amplify the impact of every dollar awarded.

Our grants support project-based initiatives across a wide range of focus areas, including food pantries, youth services, senior programs, housing support, health services, job training, and more. We are particularly interested in programs that address urgent needs while creating sustainable, community driven solutions.

Organizations interested in applying should submit a complete proposal outlining:

• Your mission and background
• A clear description of the project
• The impact your work will have on the Staten Island community

Applications must be submitted by May 15, 2026, and will be reviewed by members of the Mid Island Rotary Foundation and Rotary Club leadership. Selected organizations may be contacted during the review process for additional information or follow-up conversations.
