Interact Clubs:
Building Young Leaders Through Service
Mid Island Rotary is proud to support and mentor the next generation of leaders through our Interact Clubs, a Rotary youth program that brings together students who want to make a difference while building friendships, confidence, and leadership skills.
Interact is designed for young people who are ready to take action. Through school-based clubs, students plan and lead meaningful service projects that support their communities and connect them to a larger global network of young leaders. Interact clubs focus on both local service and international understanding, helping students see the impact they can have—right here on Staten Island and beyond.
Our Local Partnerships
Mid Island Rotary is proud to partner with:
- St. Peter’s High School
- Notre Dame Academy High School
Through these partnerships, our Rotarians work closely with student Interactors to offer mentorship, guidance, and support as they develop and lead service initiatives. From community projects to fundraising efforts, these students are already making a meaningful difference across Staten Island.
Why Interact Matters
Interact is more than a club. it’s an experience that helps young people:
- Build leadership and organizational skills
- Serve their school and local community
- Connect with peers who share a passion for giving back
- Gain exposure to new ideas, cultures, and perspectives
Clubs take on at least two service projects each year: one focused on their school or community and another that promotes a broader, global understanding. Along the way, students grow into confident, thoughtful leaders who understand the value of service and collaboration.
